Cameroonian economic mission visits Netherlands in May 2015

An economic mission, made up of private sector and public authorities, operators will be held in the Netherlands from 26 to 30 May, 2015.

This was revealed during a recent visit of Dutch traders to the Minister of the economy, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi. He also was invited by the Dutch operators, to lead the mission.

This expedition will enable economic operators in the two countries to establish business contacts, and the authorities to expose the Dutch investment opportunities which conceals Cameroon, as well as the regulatory arsenal put in place to encourage investors, etc.

Currently, the Netherlands are the destination for approximately 10.5% of Cameroonian exports, 70% of the production of cocoa in the country. The Netherlands are also the eighth supplier of Cameroon.
