Casino launches Cdiscount in Cameroon

After its implantation in Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal, the platform of online sales, Cdiscount, subsidiary of the Casino Group, has been launched in Cameroon, making its entry for the first time in Central Africa.

The leader of online sale in France announced in a statement the launch of its activities in Cameroon. Six months after the establishment by Cdiscount Africa and Bolloré Africa Logistics of a joint company for online sale on the African continent, the e-commerce platform advances not too fast on the African continent, with a third implementation - the first in Central Africa - coming after those made in Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal.

In a communiqué issued December 1, Cnova N.V., pole of e-commerce of the Casino (parent of Cdiscount) group, indicated that, "the Cameroonian guests can access more than 50 000 references available on the dedicated website Cdiscount.cm. The latter will be available from Wednesday, December 3.
