Cameroonians are making maximum use of the Christmas season to carry out profitable businesses. One of such businesses is that of photography.
In many neighbourhoods in Yaounde, makeshift photography studios have sprung up along the roadsides.
At such places, it is commonplace to see children and parents posing for pictures, especially in the evenings.
The makeshift studios have plastic backgrounds with beautiful pictures and sometimes a chair or two for customers to pose on.
In the meantime, some toys like artificial horses for younger children to sit on and simulate riding a real horse are placed at the studio.
Most parents who visit such studios say it is economical and saves time since they are close to the house, hence very accessible during the Christmas season.
Owners of the studios on their part say the business is a very profitable one.
