Companies Enhance Performance Skills

Staff of some Douala-based companies have been taught to improve turnover of their outfit. A seminar to contribute to the strengthening of capacities of company staff and offer opportunity for companies to be more competitive took place in Bonanjo, Douala, yesterday October 9, 2012.

The seminar was organized by the Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Craft (CCIMA) The objectives were to raise awareness among managers and valorize business assets, get them acquainted with 2010 law obliging companies to submit management proceeding and turnover to certified management centers created by government. There are three such centres; one in Yaounde and two in Douala.

Participants were also built with mastery of the stakes of legal re-evaluation of business assets as well as master the consequences on the accounts of the company. The seminar falls in line with one of the roles of CCIMA to offer professional training and disseminate economic, trade, legal and technical information. Companies involved were those with a running capital of less than FCFA 100 million.
