Deutsche Bank gives out 8.5 billion FCFA to Cameroon

The German Banking Group Deutsche Bank has offered a loan of 8.5 billion CFA francs to Cameroon to enable the country finance some of its priority social sectors.

This envelope will be used, inter alia, for the partial funding of the three-year emergency plan recently adopted by the Cameroonian Government.

Estimated at 925 billion CFA francs, triennial contingency to which four African banking groups have granted a loan of 600 million francs CFA in Cameroon, puts a focus on the development of transport infrastructure, construction and equipment of hospitals, improving the supply of drinking water and electrical energy, urban development, agriculture and livestock without forgetting safety.
