According to Hervé Béril, the Director General of the Cameroon Postal Services (Campost), the turnover of the Cameroonian public postal company is witnessing a regular increase of about 10% per year since the implementation of the e-post project, funded for over 32 billion Cfa francs by the Government with a loan from the Eximbank of China.

This project, which aims to digitize and interconnect all 234 post of the country offices helped Campost and deploy about 710 Km of optical fibre, infrastructures to allow the company to have a virtually autonomous network, according to Hervé Béril.

As a reminder, the Cameroonian postal company is currently managed by a team made available by the French Sofrepost, which was renewed in June 2014, a technical assistance contract of 2 years with the Cameroonian Government in the context of the restructuring of Campost.
