Cameroon electricity operator, Eneo, announced the implementation of an investment programme of 37.7 billion FCFA for 2015.

In a note published Wednesday on the subject, the subsidiary of the British investment fund Actis shows that 16.2 billion FCFA will be lent by the banks, the rest to be absolved from its sales. 37% of the envelope will be intended for the strengthening of the distribution network, 43% for production and transport and 20% for the commercial and media activities.

Eneo, which hopes to connect a little more than 60,000 new customers to the network by 2015, however hastens to clarify that these 2015 forecasts will be translated into facts if the company covers regularly, and in time, 100% of the sales made from its customers.
