With the demise of Chantier Naval following the arrest of its General Manager Fonjindam Zacheus, the CPDM pattern of liquidating government parastastals is advancing as stated in the policy of “Grand Realisations”.

After completing the take- over of Aes-Sonel, the British company Actis has changed their name to Eneo Cameroon SA.

In a symbolic ceremony attended by Cameroon’s Minister of Water and Energy, Basile Atangana Kouna, the General Manager of Eneo Cameroon SA, Nana Joel Kontchou hinted that the change of name is a new beginning of a new era and a new dynamism in the supply of power in Cameroon.

Nana Joel Kontchou assured the Cameroon people of constant flow of electricity in years to come, a similar promise made by the defunct Aes-Sonel.
