The Minister of small and medium-sized enterprises, social economy and handicrafts recently met splinter factions of Mifi-centre section of the CPDM.

After being passive for almost a year in the war which broke out in the Mifi-centre section in the aftermath of the coupled elections in September 2013, the central Committee of the CPDM has finally revealed his desire to put an end to the hostilities.

The supreme body of the ruling party mandated Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa to lead a meeting between the different protagonists. Expected this Friday, August 22, 2014 according to our information at the House of the party of Bafoussam, this meeting should primarily revolve around the crisis measures.

However, the entry into the stage by the central Committee occurs after the failure of the mediation initiated by several personalities of the region of the West, including Governor Awa Fonka Augustine.

Clashed in the Mifi-centre section was born in the aftermath of municipal and legislative held in September 2013. Indeed, 20 people, all frames of the CPDM in the Mifi-centre section including its president Jules Hilaire Focka Focka were accused of "abuse of function and misleading statements" by other activists of the same party and this hatchet was unearthed on December 27.

Following a deliberation of the discipline Council of the said section, presided over by the Mayor of Bafoussam 1, all these frameworks of the CPDM have been severely punished.

The sentences ranged from 2 to 10 years of ineligibility in the party, with either blame or warnings. The disciplinary board justified its decision by considered discourteous behaviour and driving differences observed among these activists.

In short, the punished were for the vast majority, "recognized guilty of insubordination and breach of article 57 of the basic texts of the party.

For them, these reasons are groundless and mainly motivated by denunciations they made "catastrophic management of issues of the Bafoussam 1 community in particular, and the unilateral appointment of great advisors by Mayor Focka Focka".

The minister of small and medium size enterprises has thus decided to intervene in this case and so bring things to order.
