Gov't receive 95.5 b from IDB, Abu Dhabi Fund for dev'tal projects

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the Abu Dhabi Fund for development (FADD), gave Friday a loan of 95.5 billion CFA francs in Cameroon for the construction of infrastructure.

The loan agreements were initialed by the Minister of the economy, Plan and regional development, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, and representatives of these structures.

Cameroon got an Istisna'a loan accord ', for a total of 87.9 billion CFA francs from the IDB for the construction of the road project (centre) and Kribi (South) to connect Yaoundé, the capital to this seaside resort, industrial city.

It obtained a loan from FADD, amounting to 7.5 billion CFA francs intended for the good supply of electricity in several localities of the country.

204 Km in length, the Olama-Kribi segment requires funding of 100 billion CFA francs, according to the Ministry of the economy, whose work will soon enter the second phase.
