HTDS wins bid to install a scanner at Douala airport

The French company Hi-Tech Detection System (HTDS) has won the bid to install a scanner for air cargo at the Douala airport, located in the economic capital of the country and considered as the main entrance door of the country.

The contract of a total amount of 899,841 euros (5.893 billions francs Cfa) also includes the commissioning of the equipment and training of staff to use it, we learn from the statement issued on September 17 by the Program Coordinator in charge of the implementation of the modernization of customs (Papmod).

This program is funded by the 10th FED (European Development Fund) available to African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP) by the European Commission.
