In this perspective, it was announced that 100,000 day-old chicks will be placed in the market at a price of 410 francs CFA against 500 CFA francs currently charged. According to officials of the IPAVIC, these deliveries will take place between the months of October and November 2014, to allow farmers to meet the 45-day production cycle, and to be able to supply the market from mid-December.
