Investment Promotion Agency partners with CRTV

The General Manager of the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV), Amadou Vamoulke has received the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency, Marthe Angeline Minja in audience this 12th August 2015.

The meeting was in line with ongoing preparations for the first ever Cameroon Investment Forum scheduled for 25th-27th November 2015 in Douala.

The Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency hope to get the CRTV involved with media coverage, announcements and micro programmes before, during and after the forum; noting that the media play a vital role in the success of the event.

The CRTV GM on his part explained that the forum would provide employment for Cameroonians since investment is a pull factor of employment. He assured the IPA boss of media coverage of all the news worthy components of the forum.

Facing the press, Marthe Angeline Minja argued that her agency and CRTV are two public enterprises determined to promote Cameroon’s image abroad. Therefore, collaboration is necessary to attract investors.

Few months to the Cameroon Investment Forum, officials of the Investment Promotion Agency are working relentlessly to give the event the grandeur it deserves.

The forum to be organised under the theme, “Emergence through Investment”, will be a platform for national and foreign investors to exhibit their products. It will also encourage the transfer of technology, which is a necessary ingredient for emergence.
