Kiro'o Games raised 55 million CFA francs to launch video game "Aurion"

Sorelle Kamdom, the Kiro'o’s Games Head of Communications and Press Relations has announced that the company that claims to be the first Central Africa video games studio, has already managed to raise € 84 000(55, 100 million FCFA) to start his video game "Aurion". Aged 10 years old, this video game is inspired by the culture and the African cosmogony. Olivier Madiba (photo), a young Cameroonian entrepreneur, co-founder of the studio Kiro'o Games, hoped to launch in mid-2014 unfortunately could not reached his goal.

Unlike major productions such as "Desert Storm", "Divinity", "FIFA", which already have found financing, Kiro'o Games has not yet managed to gather all the money he needs, € 183,000 (120 million CFA francs) to finalize the development of the project because of investor skepticism about the viability of the project. Kiro'o Games has difficulty meeting its financial goal.

To overcome this issue, the company has decided to sell shares to finance itself. Thus the project was divided into 1000 shares of which 300 are being sold at a rate of € 610 per share. "We have already sold 140 shares out of the 300 with 30 beneficial shareholders all over the world," said Sorelle Kamdom.
