The Minister of labour and social security (Mintss), Grégoire Owona was before the Committee on finance and budget of the National Assembly Tuesday to present the achievements marked by his sector this year.
He noted that the Mintss achieved a rate of 76% in the budget of public investment and a rate of 96.66% for the operation on the basis of an overall package of 4,363 billion or 3,663 million reserved for running the sector and 700 million for investment.
"We will continue to achieve in the promotion of social security for all, generalizing the decent work in all sectors of our operation", noted the Minister Grégoire Owona. For the year 2015, the Mintss will benefit from a budget of 4,632 million. This will account for either 3,882 billion for the operation and 750 million for investments.
The year 2015 will revolve around the promotion of social security, the improvement of labour, governance program and the institutional support of the labour and social security subsector. Grégoire Owona's account reveals an entirely new dynamic for his Department.
