Ministry of industry opens potato processing research tender

The Ministry of industry has just launched a call for tenders, to recruit a research firm to achieve on behalf of the Government, a technical, institutional and financial study for the formulation of a project of potato processing in the locality of Kumbo, located in the region of the Northwest of the country.

Firms interested, in good standing with the Cameroonian IRS, have until March 20, 2015 to submit their records of submission to serving the markets of the Ministry of Mines, industry and technological development in Yaounde.

As a reminder, according to the statistics of the national program for recovery in the potato sector, Cameroon produced between 220,000 and 400,000 tonnes of this commodity annually, according to the clemency of the climate and nature. 17% of the production is exported to neighbouring countries.
