Motorola promotes latest technologies at workshop in Yaounde

The American operator of telecommunications, software, and networks, Motorola Solutions organized a round table meeting on the theme, "more safe cities, secure companies for Africa" on March 25, 2015 in Yaounde.

During the roundtable meeting, "the experts discussed the challenges faced by public and private organizations to make their cities safe and ensure professional activities become a success".

Specifically, the American company seized the opportunity at this meeting to present to guests, "major trends affecting the safety and security of cities and companies", announced the organizers.

Furthermore, demonstration workshops will show solutions such as registration plates recognition system, performing access control systems, sensors for alerts systems and software to help in the decision-making."

This roundtable took place in a context marked by the launching of the first experiences of urban video monitoring in certain areas considered dangerous in the Cameroonian capital, a project led by the urban community of Yaoundé and the national police.
