Nearly 150 recruitment companies illegal in Cameroon

Cameroon's Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Zacharie Perevet, has released a list of nearly 150 recruitment companies, who have been operating illegally in Cameroon.

To these illegal structures to which the technical supervision authorities is to give sanctions ranging from formal notice to the temporary suspension of their activities, the Minister Perevet reproached the non-renewal of licenses and the refusal to provide the administration with the data statistics on job researchers inserted.

The Minister added, "These failures are not only barriers to the current regulations that cannot be tolerated, but also remain a barrier to achieving the objectives of the government in the ratings and transparency in the job market."
