SABC wins Palme d'Or at Soirée des partenaires

SABC has won Palme d'Or at the end of the 7th edition of Soirée des partenaires, which took place Friday in Douala.

"Cameroon customs at the service of its partners” was the theme of the 2014 edition of Soirée des partenaires of this administration. It took place Friday in Douala, in the presence of the Director-general of customs, Minette Libom li Likeng, the Governor of the Littoral region, Joseph Beti Assomo, representative of the Minister of finance and also from business leaders.

The best performers were rewarded in 4 categories. At Chartered Commissionaires, the winner was awarded best transport Nexus + under the criterion of Celerity and respect for procedures. In the customs-business partnership category, the winners of excellence were rewarded on two criteria: the contribution to the Symposium and the support of the customs reform. In this category, it is the Steering Committee of the industrial port complex of Kribi (Copil-Cipk) which was awarded the first prize.

According to customs, Soirée des partenaires aims to celebrate collaboration and strengthen professional links between the administration of customs, the actors and stakeholders in the supply chain of transport and businesses. It is dedicated to the consideration of reciprocal achievement and reward partners distinguished during the exercise by their citizen behaviour as well as their contribution to the maximum mobilization of the recipes in various categories.

It was also aimed to salute the performance of the entire sector and customs stakeholders. "It's a healthy emulation, a message advocating for ethics and transparency, a healthy, fair competition and more patriotism", recalled Minette Libom li Likeng.
