Samsung Electronics continues to achieve recognition for its innovative products. The company has been awarded a certification of 20 year lifespan durability from the renowned VDE Testing and Certification Institute for the Samsung Digital Inverter Motor (DIM) and Arno Washing Machine.

“VDE is a leading agency for testing electrical equipment in Europe” said Vishwas Saxena, Director for Consumer Electronics at Samsung Ghana. “VDE Life time tested the 3 Phase BLDC Motor which runs for 4,400 cycles or 20 years”, he said.

“The certification serves as testimonial to Samsung DIM’s durability and impressive performance which our consumers trust us for. We are confident consumers will make the informed choice when shopping the market for a washing machine that will last a life time”, Mr. Saxena added.

Samsung touts its Digital Inverter Motor which features an innovative brushless design and uses magnets to drive the drum’s rotation with less friction, noise and vibration cutting down on wear and tear of the machine’s working parts. This durability is now also guaranteed by the certification of 20 year lifespan durability from VDE.

The certification by VDE applies to all models of Samsung ARNO, WW9000 and WW8000 washing machines, as well as the 1600 RPM and 10 other models of the WW7000.

The general public is advised to visit VDE's certification register online for more information at www.vde.com/certificate and entering the ID Number 40040251 for the data sheet and the VDE Approval Marks for the Samsung DIM and Arno Washing Machine product.
