Samuel Foyou to set-up cosmetic industry in CMR

On the 25 th of August, the Cameroonian industrialist Samuel Foyou filed a notary in the town of Douala, acts of creation of First Cosmetics Industry (Fico Industry), a limited company which he himself chairs and whose purpose is the "manufacture and distribution of cosmetic products, import and export, trading and the representation of markets.

The new face of the world's Affairs in Cameroon prepares his arrival on a more than competitive cosmetics market, with massive imports of products from Nigeria, the United States and Spain via Equatorial Guinea.

On July 10, this very discreet Cameroonian industrialist created Brasaf with a capital of 100 million francs Cfa, heralding the competition for Cameroon breweries and Guinness Cameroon, Union camerounaise breweries (UCB), the three companies that share the market of beer in the country so far.

Majority shareholder of Cameroonian fermentation society (Fermencam), a redeemed distillery in 2006 billionaire Victor Fotso, Samuel Foyou recently announced it has sought from the Cameroonian State, an area of 2000 hectares for planting fruit trees to produce natural juice for export.

Samuel Foyou, who made his fortune through commercial activities in Congo and Angola, is also the owner of Unalor, a production of Matches Company acquired from Fotso group in 2009, Plasticam, of Sotrasel (production of salt), Biscuiterie Samuel Foyou and Moore Paragon printing.
