Turkey and Cmr electronics operators meet in Sept. in Dla

The Turkish Embassy in Cameroon will organize, a B to B meeting between Turkish and Cameroonian traders on September 9, 2014 in Douala.

According to a statement issued by the organizers, the areas of activity covered by these project research partnerships are for the cable manufacturers, lighting, electrical equipment, electronics and appliances.

These meetings will be held as a prelude to the big fair for Turkish products to be held in Yaounde from 24 to 27 September at theTurcam Hall. According to sources nearly 50 exhibitors are expected.

After Yaoundé in September 2014, it will be the turn of the Turkish capital, Ankara, to host the "economic and trade days of Cameroon", in October 2014, revealed the general secretary of the Prime Minister, Louis Paul Motazé, following the work of the second session of the Joint Economic, technical and sales Commission between Cameroon and Turkey, held on 12 and 13 June 2014 in Turkey.

Building on strengthening economic ties between the two countries since the economic mission led by Paul Biya in Turkey in March 2013, Cameroon aims officially to increase to 500 million dollars (250 billion francs CFA francs), by 2015, the volume of trade between the two countries.

Currently, these exchanges are estimated at about 75 billion CFA francs.
