Turkish Ambassador in Cmr for a partnership agreement

The Turkish ambassador, Omer Faruk Dogan was recently received at agency for the promotion of investment.

More than one announcement August 20 was made during the audience granted by the Director General of the Agency for the promotion of investment (API), Marthe Angeline Minja, to the Ambassador of Turkey in Cameroon. At the end of a closed meeting, H.E. Omer Faruk Dogan revealed to have come "with a lot of files, which were presented in the form of projects and activities.

The first activity, according to the diplomat, is scheduled between September 24 and 27. “During this period, a Turkish exhibition has been programmed in Yaoundé is programmed, particularly in the area of agro-industry with coffee, cotton and cocoa. At this exhibition, Turkish businessmen will in Cameroon, for a kind of exploration to invest in the country.

In this connection, the Director General of the API expressed a vow: "That it is not only to invest in the products to market, but also in the industry. It is precisely for this reason that the API is working to attract Turkish investors in Cameroon," says Marthe Angeline Minja.

Omer Faruk Dogan announced the holding of a Cameroonian economic forum held in Istanbul. "It will be to present the strengths of the country to Turkish investors, to precisely increase their investment in Cameroon, increase employment and of course, the production and export". This will provide the opportunity to discuss the proposed partnership agreement between Turkey and Cameroon, for stronger ties.
