Workers of the National Employment Fund in Yaounde on Thursday July 18, 2013 began signing the Code of Conduct of the enterprise which contains ethics and deontology that will have to be followed and applied by every employee. It is expected to create harmony with the company's values and culture for its effective growth.
During the event, the General Manager of the National Employment Fund (NEF), Camille Mouté ? Bidias said since 2007 the initiative of a Code of Conduct came up and the that idea come to light with the validation and adoption of an NEF Code of Conduct which calls on all employees to be productive, upright, honest and just in all circumstances.
They are also expected to have a good self-esteem, be welcoming and presentable (clean and neat in dressing) at all times. Through the Code of Conduct, workers of NEF are obliged to cultivate a team spirit, avoid slander and render the free services that are needed to offer employment to many young Cameroonians in need. So far, sanctions have not been slated for those who will operate contrary to the code. All personnel have to apply the code in a bid to improve output.
