Littoral governor calls for timely completion of projects

The economic capital has merged to a great sight with the works of construction of the second bridge over the Wouri and the development of the East entry of Douala.

Associates of the operational cell of coordination as well as the involvement of participants, directly or indirectly, met on Friday, September 26, 2014 with the Governor of the region and the President of the said cell. This was to have all relevant information on the development of these projects which includes the construction of the 2nd bridge over the Wouri and the development of the East entry of Douala.

Joseph Beti Assomo strengthened the procedures of the various participants. Following communications from missions of control for the second bridge over the Wouri and the East entry, he urged companies to take all steps to ensure that these projects are delivered on time.

The Sogea-Satom grouping and Razel will therefore, step up the deployment of teams to translate these projects and make them usable by the national economy and population achievements.

The project of construction of the second bridge over the Wouri benefits from funding from the AFD, the C2D and the BIP for over 100 billion. Launched by the president of the Republic in November 2013, it will run for 44 months. In detail, 8 months are devoted to the design and 36 months in the phase of work.
