24 Cameroonians who were locked up in Gabon for eight months, for illegal migration have been released and handed over to Cameroonian authorities.

They were handed to authorities at the frontiers with Gabon, in Ambam in the South region, on Thursday July 17.

The governor of the South region, Jules Marcellin Njaga welcomed the Cameroonians at his office in Ebolowa on Thursday. They were all reportedly doing fine.

Most of the Cameroonians said they crossed over to Gabon to mine Gold in the neighbouring country.
