Air force corporal harassed at Mbongo

A corporal in the air force in Douala was harassed recently by a passenger in a heavy-duty carrier (a Toyota 4 Runner registered this BH 393) heading to Yaoundé.

According to information received from the gendarmerie brigade of Yassa, the military, in civilian outfit that day, had decided to make a stop at Mbongo.

Almost halfway to the Douala-Edéa segment, the four occupants of the car were assaulted, stripped of money and abandoned on the road.

He returned to Douala and came through the same route the following day. Not far from Edéa, he spotted the same vehicle abandaoned at a spot. He notified security forces who brought back the vehicle to Douala. Investigations are ongoing to arrest the culprits.
