A man who had the bad habit of presenting himself as the Governor of the Littoral Region has been arrested in Yaounde.

The CRTV-Littoral correspondent who gave the news during the 5:00 PM news on Monday, December 7, 2015, did not give his name.

The only information was that the person is a 43-year-old trader who has two residences in Yaounde and Douala. The man was exposed on December 3, 2015, at Elig-Edzoa neighborhood in Yaounde.

He was arrested by the Anti-Crime Brigade of the Judicial Police of Littoral who have actively been looking for him for several weeks.

The Regional Delegate for National Security of the Littoral, Raymond Essogo, threw his men on his trail after receiving many complaints for fraud. He used to attend to his victims during telephone calls as the new governor of the Littoral.

“He thanked them for services rendered to the installation ceremony, sometimes urged to contribute against high reward. To some, he claimed credit transfers," as reported by the CRTV-Littoral Journalist.

About 50 million FCFA extracted from people who believed to be dealing with the new governor, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua.

Despite several warnings, the suspect continued his dirty work. Obviously not easy for the convicts to leave the path of the off-the-law. Even after another arrest and incarceration in March this year; when he was posing as the former Secretary of State to the Minister of Public Works in charge of roads, Hans Nyetam Nyetam.
