Gang of robbers arrested in Bertoua

A gang three Cameroonians; Tatitoum Fotouo Albert Marx, gang leader, 35 years, Fombasso Jean Pierre, 36 years and Abdel Nasser, 28-year-old who attacked a Lebanese in broad daylight have been caught.

These armed robbers are currently detained in a cell at Central Office in Bertoua. They carried out an operation in a Lebanese store making away with a sum of 7 million Cfa Francs.

Tatitoum Fotouo Albert Marx, Fombasso Jean Pierre and Abdel Nasser riding in a yellow taxi got trapped in an area located in Yademe. Armed with rifles and machetes, they ordered the Manager of the company to give them everything thing in the drawer.

After making away with the sum of 7 million CFA Francs, the criminals escaped but were followed by one of the employees after informing the police.

Stuck in a swamp at the Monou II district, the three criminals abandoned their vehicle in a river. They were rescued by swimmers of the district and handed over to the special team.

The Criminals are in a cell at the Central Office of Bertoua, while their accomplice, one Davis Arnaud, ex employee of the store is on the run.
