SOS-Racism branch of Cameroon has asked, in vain, the Cameroonian government to proceed with the evacuation of businessman Jean Emmanuel Foumbi.

According to his lawyer, the Franco-Cameroonian has a serious health problem. He now depends on painkillers for sustenance adding to his state of paralysis, which affects the right side of his body.

Marc Ndzouba, president of SOS Racism in Cameroon said, 'medical experts from a group of doctors who proposed an immediate evacuation of Jean Emmanuel to France. This is because SOS Racism in Cameroon found the case highly alarming.

And today, Jean Emmanuel Foumbi is almost at the point of death. The right to life, such as the right to health, comes well before legal requirements."

However, Martin Luther Achet does not believe in the good faith of the businessman: "Mr Foumbi does not have a home even in Paris!

If [we] give him freedom, who will repay all the money he owes? Mr Foumbi said that he was sick, and a medical review was performed, it was realized that Mr. Foumbi was sane and that whenever he was called for a hearing, he would drug himself the day before so that he will not be conscious on the day of the hearing."
