The accused pastor of a mainstream church in the village of Nkikok in Bangem Subdivision, who was charged with severally raping a 14 year old student of a private college in Bangem town, dropped his pride and admitted guilt.

It took two detentions and an intensive cross-examination by the prosecuting officers preparing the case file that the man-of –God collapsed in front of his conscience and pleaded for clemency justifying his action as the work of seduction and the devil.

The pastor told the investigating officers, and we were told, that the young girl was not in her first outing with men and kept her first outing with men and kept winding her waist in front of him to admire.

He is also said to have admitted that the show was meant to be short, but he realized that he could not easily graduate from the fun and stayed on until that unfortunate day.

Sources at the investigation declare that he promised to make up for the damages done and pleaded on his followers to forgive him for he is just human.

Meantime, reliable sources from the girl’s family say her elder brother from South Africa has rejected any form of out of court settlement, insisting that he sister has been ridiculed.

After many interventions, our source said the elder brother accepted on the condition that the pastor will sponsor her sister’s documents and flight for her sister to accompany him to South Africa.

This, travelers have estimated to cost millions and wonder if the man of God will be able to afford it. Worthy of note is the fact that the matter is still at the legal department and might get into court should both parties fail to agree.
