Three suspected armed bandits were arrested in Douala with a locally-made gun and seven bullets over the weekend.
Gustave Biami, Nelson Nga Funk and Yves Wanko were whisked off into custody at the Judicial Police in Bonanjo, Douala. Police of the Special Police Station of Douala II Subdivision carried out some undercover work on their activities for a long time.
The armed gang finally fell into the Police dragnet at the Bonabassem Roundabout in Deido. The men were caught with a locally-made gun and seven bullets. They also had in their possession three daggers, three mobile phones, a bag containing screw drivers, nail cutters, adhesive gum and rubber bands.
Police are yet to make an inventory of stolen property.
