Stop these churches from making noise

I write with the deepest pain about the current noise being made by two churches, the Hour of Faith International Ministry, and the Gideon House Chapel Ministry operating opposite each other on Lane 10, Gbawe Newtown, Accra.

The intransigent behaviour of these churches and their pastors are persistent during all night service denying residents of peaceful sleep. They use giant loud speakers during their services even late into the night.

As an 85-year-old retired civil servant, I cannot even sleep peacefully and have been visiting my Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor of late because of the noise.

The area has been zoned as a residential area and so no church should operate in the area. Some of theses churches are becoming a huge money making industry for the smart leaders rather than a soul-winning organisation.

Sadly, innocent residents instead of reporting these pastors to the appropriate authorities for sanctions rather worship them. I am appealing to the authorities responsible to stop these churches.
