Dr Seunkam François, "We will engage through of our skills, to avoid disorder in our country until Biya leaves power".

Managing Director of SEPT-Cameroon (company studies and Promotion Techniques) recently talked on the topics of citizen participation, its relationship with late President Ahidjo and his assurances regarding psychosis which will prevail in Cameroon when Paul Biya is no longer in control.

"When I arrived Cameroon, some seniors in service of the State told Ahidjo I was trained by France to overthrow power. Having insufficient evidence, he preferred to assign me to house arrest. I was only 28 years, his objective was to destroy without cause intellectuals who instead were better place to think about the philosophy of Cameroon. "I was formed to help the country and not to destroy. But unfortunately Ahidjo believed that my intention was to overthrow him.

It was in 1977 that God inspired me into politics to positively change the country. In August 1980 when I meet Dr Vroumsia Tchinaye at the scientific research, we shared the same idea that Ahidjo was mistaken his path; that he guided Cameroon on a very slippery slope. Relentlessly, I thought about the creation of a political party. August 12, 1980, we wrote the Statute of the party.

"The route of the party was directed towards the citizen. After the dead of Bamenda, I decided to devote my life to this party created in 1980, redevelop it and drop it for legalization at the Sub-Prefecture of Foumbot on 1 June 1990.

After the effective launch of the party, Biya who smelled a radiation of our party, asked us to go to elections. We found this a democratic Act, but we answered him that everything had not been met for electoral transparency. There was need to change the foundations of the country with a good constitution for election and Republican laws so that we accept to present our candidates. When he resisted, we launched operation dead city.

It was to compel him to summon a sovereign national conference which had to solve all problems of Cameroon, set up a good constitution and developing Republican electoral laws before claiming a responsible body of the independent elections. In 1992, two years after, the invitation of Biya challenging us to go to the elections that we denied, Cameroonian opposition of short ambition went to these convinced elections that same inadequate conditions prevailed. It drew their attention to the system of full power by Paul Biya.

Today, it is not possible that an opposition party claims majority of seats in parliaments or even more to win the presidential elections. When they are ornery, we preferred to suspend our political activities. It was necessary to sacrifice part of our careers to allow people to live in peace and avoid war. What we lived in some African countries is simply deplorable. From that moment, we were confused as accomplices or allies of Biya.

Our party was not created to oppose Biya in person, because the RUN has existed under Ahidjo. Effectively remained in the shadows, we find it necessary to contribution our knowledge today to save Cameroon from disorder and catastrophe orchestrated by Biya. We will engage through our skills, to avoid disorder in Cameroon when Biya will leave power. We are working every minute for the safe cause in our country being hurt by ineffective unrest”
