After the Presidential Decree signed on Friday, October 2, 2015, eleven new Ministers were appointed while six cabinet Ministers moved to perform different functions and 12 others were humbled out from their positions as Ministers.
The following are the 11 newcomers, their former posts, and new offices:
Joseph Beti Assomo is now the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defense after having served as Governor of Littoral Region; Madame Mbah Acha nee Foumunda Rose Ngwari becomes the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of the Supreme State Audit After her services as Magistrate at the Administrative Court in Bamenda; Pauline Irene Nguene Kendeck becomes Minister of Social Affairs; Narcisse Kombi Mouelle mounts the helm as Minister of Arts and Culture a former Adviser at the Presidency of the Republic.
Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe becomes the Minister of Secondary Education; Ernest Ngwaboubou is honored to take the office as Minister of Mines, Industries and Technological Development; Minette Libom Li Likeng nee Mendomo becomes Minister of Posts and Telecommunications after her years of fruitful services as Director General of Customs.
Mbella Lejeune is dignified with the post of Minister of External Relations after his years of faithful services as Cameroon’s Ambassador to France; Paul Elung Che was elevated from General Manager of Hydro Carbon Price Stabilization Fund to Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Finance; Boniface Bayaola becomes the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Secondary Education in charge of Teacher Training and Louis Max Ayina Ohandja takes the post of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works in charge of Roads.
Meanwhile, six cabinet Ministers moved to perform different functions. They are:
Edgard Allain Mebe- Ngo’o- from Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defense to the Ministry of Transport; Louis Paul Motaze-leaps back as Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development after his services as Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s Office; Foutsou Mounouna the new Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education was former Secretary of State at the Ministry of Secondary Education in charge Teacher Training.
Minister Nganou Djoumessi shifts from the Ministry of Economy Planning and Regional Development to the Ministry of Public Works; while Minister Pierre Ismael Bidoung Mpkatt has moved to Youth Affairs and Civic Education back to the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education where he had served some years back. Minister Eyebe Ayissi moves from the Supreme State Audit Office to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Twelve others were humbled out of their positions as Ministers. They are:
Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam-former Minister of Post and Tele Communications; Essimi Menye-former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Robert Nkili- former Minister of Transport; Louis Bapes- Bapes-former Minister of Secondary Education; Emmanuel Bonde -former Minister of Mines and Technological Development Ama Tutu Muna - former Minister of Arts and Culture.
Catherine Bakang Mbock-former Minister of Social Affairs; Patrice Amba Salla-former Minister of Public Works; Adoum Garoua - former Minister of Sports and Physical Education; Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo-former Minister of External Relations; Titi Pierre-former Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Finance and Hans Nyetam Nyetam - former Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works in charge of roads.
