Cameroonian, first black trained at the Shaolin temple visits his country

The expert intends to bring light on the realities of local Kung Fu and help solve the problems that arise.

Master Dominique Martin Saatenang, the Cameroonian and first black to Learn Kung Fu at the Shaolin temple in China, landed at the Douala international airport December 20, 2014.

During his stay, which ends at the end of the year, the native of Bafou in the Department of the Menoua (Western region) will hold a press conference (28 December) during which he will unveil his vision of martial arts in Cameroon.

He noted that, "since 2004, the Federation of Cameroon never participated in any international competition". He will also meet athletes, masters of martial arts in order to soak up the situation of these disciplines in the country. Dominique Saatenang is the pride of Cameroon and Africa on the international level.

He joined the Shaolin temple of great reputation in the early 2000s, becoming the first black to join this renowned institution. He triumphed training tests imposed on the followers and left with the title of Shi Yan may.

Since then, Saatenang represents the Kung Fu culture to the four corners of the planet. The Ambassador of the famous Chinese martial art was received by many head of State throughout the world.
