11 people die in a road accident in Adamawa

A traffic accident occurred at Djouzani - locality not far from Meïganga, in one Department between Ngaoundéré (capital of the Adamawa region) and Garoua-Boulaï which resulted in the death of 11 people, reported Mutations in its Thursday edition.

The traffic accident at 150 Km from Ngaoundéré, left 36 wounded, according to medical sources quoted by the newspaper.

The accident resulted from a bad manoever from a transport bus belonging to Danay Express. While in Maroua in the far North, the vehicle brand Mercedes with seventy seats, missed a turn at Djouzani.

The accident caused the death of 11 people, including five children. Among the 33 wounded, 11 serious cases were transported to the Meiganga district hospital.
