Co-financing agreements were signed on Tuesday between PNDP and 12 municipalities.

The structure has signed with 12 municipalities (Fokoue, Bangangté, Fongo Tongo, Dschang, Bangou, Bafoussam I, Babadjou, Malentouen, Magba, Batié et Foumbot) a conventions for the co-financing of 32 micro agricultural projects amounting to 600 (568 076 063) million CFA francs.

According to Boniface Megouo, Coordinator of Pndp, the funds made available to Commons will enable them not only to finance the benefits of (prime contractor) controllers, but also permit the monitoring of the sectoral markets and said engineers missions.

On the other hand, Boniface Megouo recalled that every Mayor should ensure that a local Committee for monitoring the implementation of each micro-project is established and that at the end work this Committee deals with the day-to-day management of the micro project to ensure sustainability works.

"My most ardent wish is that at the end of our work, each Mayor returns in his commune with a precise, concise and realistic procurement plan before he is enabled to effectively implement his micro-projects.

And that each player knows what is expected of him in the context of the implementation of this project," said Boniface Megouo.

The Mayors thanked Pndp and promised to make good use of these funds to improve the quality of life of people.
