Inhabitants of the Melen neighbourhood woke up this morning to an unpleasant stench emanating from a heap of burnt rubbish, under which was found a dead body.
The carefully wrapped body was found in an advanced decomposing state, making eyewitness identification difficult. However, with a closer look, this reporter could observe some external female characteristics on the partially cremated and decomposing corpse.
Another bystander suggested that the dump site was carefully chosen for the crime so as to dispel any doubt as to whom might be behind this despicable evil act.
The body was discovered, this Good Friday, about 10 am at a plank manufacturing depot, which area has a reputation for harbouring all sorts of promiscuity with prostitution being the primary nocturnal commercial activity.
At the time of this report, Elements of the Firefighting Brigade had not yet arrived at the scene to carry out investigations.
