A promising farmer, 29-year-old Nicolas Awouma, always crosses the Dibamba River to buy seeds for his farm.
On Sunday, August 3rd, he left for the seeds and did not return in the evening as usual.
According to one of his cousins, he called Nicolas’ number severally to no avail.
In a desperate search for him, she went to the river’s shores but could not find him.
Some prominent fishermen in the area saw a floating object and went closer just to discover it was a body.
They immediately signalled the Nylon Brigade while the remains were taken to the Laquintinie Hospital Mortuary.
