Dipanda hill flares off again

Traffic along the Tiko- Mutenguene road around the Dipanda hill was obstructed after a landslide on Thursday morning 13th August 2015.

In spite of the impact of the slide, only a Musango Express bus that ensures interurban transportation was damaged.

The bus was heading towards Buea when this incident occurred.

The unusual slowdown of traffic was caused by a bulk of earth that covered part of the road.

The Divisional officer for Tiko Patrick Ngwashi who visited the site says a permanent solution is needed. Worst of all is the fact that a deep valley is found just opposite the stretch where the incident was reported.
