The accession of the Head of State, President Paul Biya, some 32 years back on the supreme magistracy, the Wouri I CPDM militants say, has brought uncountable blessings to the country.
To the President of the Wouri I CPDM Section, Jean Jacques Lengue Malapa, peace, stability, development, liberty and reconciliation since 1982 is worth celebrating.
In the presence of Littoral’s Governor, Joseph Beti Assomo, the militants who thronged the “Indomitable Lion’s roundabout” in Akwa to celebrate 32 years of security and democracy, sang songs of gratitude and good health to President Paul Biya.
Standing at the midst of four giant lions’ statue, cloth with party uniform at the roundabout, Hon. Dooh Collins summarised President Biya’s 32 years in power, highlighting peace and the fight against the dreaded Islamist sect, Boko Haram.
On on-going giant projects in the region including the second bridge over the Wouri River, party militants could not stay indifferent but signed a motion of support to the President to continue to fight for the wellbeing of the country.
