East Region: Arts and crafts Centre inaugurated

Two new structures that will serve as a showground for the exhibition and sale of arts and crafts work have been inaugurated in the East Regional capital Bertoua.

The structures that have been realized thanks to inputs from the ministry of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and her partners (Ministry of Justice and Keeper of the seals, Ministry of Finance), seek to promote and valorize craftsmanship in the Region.

The Minister of Small and Medium sized enterprises Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa who presided the Inaugural ceremony, called on the population to maximize such an opportunity which has come to boost the Region’s image in the arts and crafts domain.

He also noted that the East Region is amongst the richest in Cameroon in all spheres, having the necessary infrastructure needed to generate revenue, create jobs within the Region and otherwise.
