Four stolen vehicles seized from two alleged robbers in Ydé

On Friday, two men aged 37 and 39 years were brought before the public prosecutor at the Court of first instance of Yaoundé administrative center.

These two alleged criminals are accused of being the main instigators of such vehicle theft. According to the information collected at the Drpj, some members of this gang are still being sought.

According to eyewitnesses, around 7 pm on October 4, a vehicle was stolen near the CNPS headquarters at Essos Hospital Center. The owner of the vehicle parked around 6 pm to visit one of his friends. Upon his return, he found that his vehicle was no longer at the place.

The victim quickly informed the Regional Directorate of the judicial police. According to police, the modus operandi of the criminals was to target a parked vehicle, and then control the movement of the driver and occupants.

The suspected thieves did not acknowledged stealing the other three cars seized by the police. The judicial proceedings initiated against them will unravel the truth.
