The Douala Urban Community (CUD) has been given three months to completely rehabilitate street lighting in the city.
To do this, the government delegate, Fritz Ntone Ntone's, bid for four contracts totaling 27 billion FCFA have already been granted.
According to sources, work for the project consists of the laying of underground electricals, renovation of damaged facilities and the installation of street lights on all the main roads of Cameroon's economic capital.
The announcement made by the Douala Urban Community is marked by the resurgence of power cuts in the city due to the rehabilitation works of the transportation system which began several weeks Eneo.
