Landslide at Logbessou, one person dead

Within a month, this is the second registered death, as a result of an accident of this nature in Douala.

A Similar scenario as that of the two victims of Makepe, Allah Aubin Gawonzini, 20 years, originating from the far North, was buried by a large quantity of earth while he was preparing the ground to receive a retaining wall.


The occurrence took place last Friday afternoon, at a place called district Dschang to Logbessou.


According to witnesses, there were three maneuvers on the construction site. Aubin was inside the hole where he was digging. The accident was sudden.

Other employees were saved because they were outside the area.


The body was deposited in the mortuary in Laquintinie, an investigation has been opened.
