The three-year-old corpse’s family members have taken the matter to the Ndokoti Court.

The dust over the corpse of a three-year-old girl handed to a wrong family on August 6th at the Logbaba District Hospital Mortuary is yet to settle.

The family (Nyamben) of the already buried three-year-old girl’s corpse has taken the matter to the Ndokoti Court in Douala.

According to the hospital administration, Dieudonné Ngono, who mistakenly received the corpse instead of that of his six-year-old daughter has equally been placed under custody at the 11th District Police Station for burying another family’s corpse.

According to Police report, Dieudonné Ngono, who has refuted allegations that he took the wrong corpse on purpose, reportedly buried the corpse alone at the early hours of Saturday July 26 in Obala (Centre Region).

At press time, the two mortuary attendants on duty the day the corpse was removed, their Chief and the owner of the six-year-old corpse are still under police custody.
