Most officials of the Movement for the Revival of Cameroon (MRC) in the Western region have been appointed to their duties. In a few weeks, they must draw their legitimacy from the elections to be organized by the National Executive Board.

Indeed, since January 9, a team led by Christophe Kamdem, stopped over, at the West region to launch the electoral process and educate voters. This tour was launched in accordance with the decision of the president of the party, Maurice Kamto to renew executive offices. Thus, on 6th January, Maurice Kamto appointed Christophe Kamdem as Chairman of the regional election commission.

According to our interviewer, when reached by telephone, his train has already travelled to Mifi (Bafoussam), Menoua (Dschang) departments and the Highlands (Baham) and also to Haut-Nkam (Bafang), Nde (Bangangté), Noun (Foumban), Koung-Khi (Bandjoun) and the Bamboutos (Mbouda).

According to Christophe Kamdem, the elections will start on 24th January in Mifi under the sign of transparency. Edwige Florentino must thus convince the voters as to why they should give them their votes, and not appoint departmental Chair again.
