Ndokayo residents showed no mercy on a certain Patrick caught in an act of kidnapping, on 2 October, the young man aged around 30, was burned alive by the populations.
The scene took place 10 kilometres from the town of Ndokayo. According to witnesses, Patrick, formidable hostage-taker, was trying to abduct a child, with the sole purpose of delivering it to accomplices not far from this town.
Heavily armed, he managed to get into the house of certain, Ndomane, targeted a few days earlier. His modus operandi was to shoot in the air, with the purpose of intimidating the family. Faced with the threat, the family left the executioner to commit his dirty work.
After leaving, the father of the family sent out a cry of distress and local residents rushed to the scene. And after a short while, the entire village came to his rescue, for the manhunt.
Patrick, as we had his name was caught and mob justice was applied. The hostage taker defended himself that he operated with three accomplices. Some breeders, who took part in this scene, also claimed, that they have paid a number of ransom to find their children. It is following these statements, that residents, got angry and set the hostage taker on fire.
