Man found dead on railway line

Gabrielle Houwe tradi-patrician of about 30 years was found dead Saturday, August 23, 2014 at a place called 'quartier Hausa' in the Borough of Douala 3rd, on the rails of a railway line passing through that area.

At about 5 o'clock in the morning, his body lying in a pool of blood was discovered by local residents.

The head of the victim was placed close to the body, which stroke a neighbourhood, who alerted the Office of the Commissioner of the 11th district, whose elements descended on the scene to secure the area and make observations.

Subsequently, special railway police were alerted. The body was transported to the nearest hospital mortuary, and subsequently, an investigation was opened by the police.
